The team at Ike’s assisted at every step. I really went with Ike’s due to Lisa’s availability and willingness to see my vision. She was always available and ready to assist when needed (even late at night and on weekends). Once construction started Todd became more involved and was great to work with. Lori also became involved during the construction project. She kept me informed of what was taking place and when. From start to finish, the entire experience was wonderful. Building a pool is definitely a process, but it was 100% worth it—our only regret is not doing it sooner. Gary and his entire team were amazing to work with and truly came through on everything they promised. Communication, professionalism, and attention to detail were outstanding, and the final result exceeded our expectations. Sometimes you never know what you're actually getting when picking contractors in Florida but this company delivers and exceeds expectations with quality, service, professionalism of workers and finished product. Every question had along the way was addressed quickly and professionally, as a first time pool owner everything was a dream come true from start to finish, especially when I see what others are going thru on Facebook groups and all that . Do yourselves a favor and hire a Ikes Carter Pools and it will be the best decision you could make. 5 stars 100%! Would use them 10 times again if I had the chance! They are always there to clean your pool and they do an “ok” job. Can’t give 4 stars because the tile around the pool edge almost never gets cleaned so there is a scum mark most of the time. They built my pool and it was a pretty easy process with them. Main reason I still give 3 stars is because it’s like pulling teeth to get any maintenance repairs done. I’ve been waiting about a year to get an estimate to replace an LED light that stopped working in only 5+ years of life. (maybe 200hrs of total use on an estimated 50,000 hour bulb) I’m guessing it was a bad bulb considering the other 2 bulbs work fine still. It would be nice if I could get it replaced one day but I’m not sure they are interested in the job so I might need to hire a different company to do it.+0Posted on Google

Alan Nash1660 days agoOur pool process began around this time last year when I spent countless hours comparing over 8 pool contractors to complete our project. After much analysis and after speaking with Erik on numerous occasions, we decided on Ike's Carter. We signed in late summer and the dig began in early October. Now that we are a few weeks away from completion, I can now attest that we made the right decision. The experience began with Erik (one of the owners) during the design and development stage. He is not a salesman and that sold me. He is genuine, accommodating and remained available throughout the process. He provided his honest opinion on multiple topics and steered us away from spending more than necessary. His partner Gary (owner) arrived for the layout of the pool and provided me with his contact information if anything should go awry. Like Erik, he valued my business. Lori G made the design process fun as she made it a point to make this expensive endeavor comical. Lori W kept me advised of every step of the process and is one of the most responsive people that I have ever encountered. She replied to my emails expeditiously and worked with me to find solutions to the extent that one was available. Like Lori W, Madisyn in the office was easily accessible and always made us feel like we were the only Ike's Carter Pool Co. customers. My frequent on site interaction was with Ryan, the son of my construction manager Craig (who was also great after we had a chance to meet). Ryan explained the pool building process in detail, likely saved 50 inquisitive phone calls that I would have made to Craig, Erik or Gary, and did a good job "working" the pool. Building a pool sucks. It does. There is no nice way to say this. Your yard will be a mess, your neighbors will constantly inquire as to the status of the eyesore that is your construction site, you will hope that this is the week that it will be "finished", yoru kids will keep asking you about it, you will need to fix your irrigation, landscaping and gas lines, deal with supply delays, on and on and on. However, if you want a partner who will charge a fair price for a good product, then choose Ike's. We did.+1Posted on Google

Lisa Rothman designed it, and she was very thorough, extremely helpful and always available to us. Overall, it was a long building process and our construction manager unexpectedly left the company in the middle of our job. However, Lori Walter (our construction coordinator) did an excellent job in keeping everything running smoothly. Building a pool is an experience and a journey, but the team at Ike's made it all worth it in the end. Lisa Rothman who sold me the pool, and Lori Walter who coordinated the entire process were amazing! It did not matter what day it was, or what time it was, they answered all emails and texts immediately. You both are incredible at your jobs - thank you both so much for everything! There is a reason Ike's has been around for 75 plus years in South Florida. It's because of their attention to detail and their professionalism. michael s182 days agovery happy overall - the design was excellent (Lisa) in a bit of an odd space and the support (Lori Walter) was very responsive, as were the project team managers, Gary and Brandon. the only reason not a 5 rating is there was coordination issues as to when work would be done and we could have been better informed and some of the subcontractors were not as careful as they could be with clean-up. but overall we definitely recommend Ike's Carter.Posted on Google
